Pop punk veterans Blink-182 have released the first single from their upcoming as-yet-untitled album, the first in eight years. You can listen to the song after the jump.

Blink fans expecting a re-visit of 1997's Dude Ranch or 1999's Enema of the State might be a tad disappointed. However, the band stated from the beginning when they reformed in 2009 that the new record would be different from previous discs.

"Up All Night" is definitely not as poppy as "All The Small Things" or "I Miss You", but it's still pretty catchy. It reminds me a lot of Blink-182 guitarist Tom DeLonge's other band, Angels & Airwaves. Not sure if that's a good thing or bad thing. Take a listen below and tell us what you think.

Blink-182 are headlining the 2011 Honda Civic Tour along with My Chemical Romance from August through October, with a stop at the DTE Energy Music Theatre in Clarkston on September 11.
