Two Michigan Museums in the Running For Best in the Entire Country
As wintry weather continues in Michigan, you might be looking at activities that can get you out of the cold and snow.
Well, two Michigan museums are being honored as some of the best in the U.S.
A USA Today and 10best readers poll is seeking to find the best science museum in the country. Twenty museums have been chosen by a panel of experts that offer "engaging exhibits, hands-on and immersive experiences, and stellar programming."
It's now up to a vote to determine the top ten.
The Michigan museum in the running for Top Science Museum in the country is the Michigan Science Center in Detroit.
Located at 5020 John R. Street in Detroit, the museum says its mission is to inspire curious minds of all ages to discover, explore and appreciate science, technology, engineering and math in a creative, dynamic learning environment.
