New Lantern Festival Coming to Grand Rapids This Spring
A new festival is coming to town! Grand Rapids is the only place in Michigan you can see these incredible works of art.
Grand Rapids Lantern Festival at John Ball Zoo
For the past twelve years Tianyu Arts & Culture, Inc. has been holding lantern festivals all over the world.
For the first time, Grand Rapids will host its own fest in 2023!
The Grand Rapids Lantern Festival will feature handcrafted Asian lantern displays that will illuminate the Zoo and tell the intersecting story of wildlife and Asian culture.
According to GR Kids, each lantern festival is unique, with different themes, artwork, and lighting techniques. We don't know the theme for Grand Rapids' festival, but we'll update this post when we do!
When is Grand Rapids Lantern Festival?
Grand Rapids Lantern Festival is April 19 through June 11, Wednesdays through Sundays, 7p.m. to 11p.m.
Tickets for Grand Rapids Lantern Festival
Tickets are not yet on sale for Grand Rapids Lantern Fest, but once they are, you'll be able to buy them here.
The tickets will be for half hour increments.
Ticket prices have yet to be announced for Grand Rapids Lantern Festival.
