Baylor’s 410-Pound LaQuan McGowan Practicing at Tight End [Video]
Taking one look at LaQuin McGowan, you'd think he was probably on the offensive or defensive line for Baylor University's football team.
Instead of doing that, Baylor's coaching staff had the idea to use the 6-foot, 7-inch tall, 410-pounder as a tight end, The Dallas Morning News reports.
In Baylor's 42-41 loss to Michigan State in the Cotton Bowl in January, McGowan didn't disappoint, catching a pass for a touchdown.
Many might say Baylor's coaching staff is crazy trying to use such a big man in any position that isn't the defensive or offensive line. However, McGowan seems to have agility and he can move like a player much smaller than him.
Who knows how his career will pan out. However, for Baylor, it seems like it has another offensive weapon right now!
