Atari: Game Over Documentary Available on Netflix [Video]

A few months ago, Microsoft funded a documentary that was set to debunk the myth about the mystery of the Atari landfill.

According to myth, Atari buried thousands of video game cartridges after they declared bankruptcy in New Mexico.

Was the myth true though?

First of all, it was never a myth, but developed into a myth because you could never access the desert. Even Atari stated that they did bury the carts but tried to make it more secretive to keep people from going an stealing the games.

I watched it and I liked it, because I wanted to see what the games looked like after being buried for over 30 years. However, the Gaming Historian did make some good points in his review.
