New Upscale Cocktail Lounge Opening Downtown Grand Rapids This Month

Looking for a new spot to enjoy cocktails with friends?

A new bar with "moody, intimate charm with a contemporary edge" is opening up downtown Grand Rapids soon.

Ashton Cocktail Lounge is located on the third floor of the B.O.B., which is owned and operated by the Gilmore Collection. It will join the B.O.B's other venues which include the Beer Garden, B.O.B.'s Brewery, HOME, Bobarino's, Dr. Grin's, and Eve Nightclub.

What can you expect at Ashton Cocktail Lounge? Rich textures and warm color palettes, plus statement art pieces, and anexpansive bar. Ashton will offer handcrafted cocktails and premium spirits to "set the tone for an indulgent evening."

A soft opening was held recently, at which bartenders served up some of Ashton's signature cocktails, including a smoked wagyu old fashioned and a hazelnut espresso martini featuring Frangelico, Wood TV 8 reports.

According to WZZM-13, Ashton's official grand opening is March 13.

After that, the new cocktail lounge will be open to the public Fridays and Saturdays, 6 p.m. to 1 a.m. The space, which can hold 350 people, is also available to rent for private events.
