ArtPrize 2016 Registers 179 Total Venues, 38 New Locations

Venue registration closed last week for ArtPrize 2016. This fall's competition in Grand Rapids will include as many as 179 venues and 38 new spaces.

This is not necessarily the final number of venues in ArtPrize 2016. Each venue must connect with at least one artist to participate this fall. The final number of 2016 venues will be announced on June 20 after the close of artist/venue connections.

The number of registered venues this year is similar to the final number of venues in prior years.

Three venues do not fall within the 3-square mile ArtPrize district:
