Argument Over Vape Pen Turns Into a Teen Dragged By a Vehicle
What started off as some teenagers arguing over a vape pen turned into a teenager getting seriously injured after being dragged by a vehicle.
Kids Settling Disputes
When I was a kid and there was a dispute between two kids at school, aside from bullies, the kids used to settle it out with an old school fistfight. I'm not saying it was right, but that was how it was done.
There were no cell phones, no guns, just two kids going toe to toe. There were not any vape pens back then either but an argument over one has led to one teenager getting critically injured.
Teenagers Argue Over Vape Pen Then One of Them Gets Dragged By a Vehicle
Tyrone Township, Michigan, is usually a pretty quiet place. Not a lot usually goes on out there except for the occasional car hitting a deer or some tractors plowing a field.
Thursday around 2 in the afternoon a group of kids between the ages of 15 and 17 gathered in the area of Fruit Ridge Avenue and 20 Mile Road.
According to WOOD, one group of teenagers was in a car while the other group was standing near the vehicle when an argument over the sale of a vape pen went to another level. The car began to drive away and a 17-year-old Kent City boy was then dragged alongside the vehicle.
The 17-year-old that was dragged by the car was found with critical injuries and he remains in critical condition at the hospital. The kids that were in the car have been found. The case remains under investigation and the prosecutor's office will be taking a look at possible charges when the investigation wraps up.
