Have you thought about a career in fire service?

Fox 17 reports the City of Battle Creek is looking for new recruits.

To apply, you must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or GED.

Applicants will also have to complete a written test and a physical agility exam.

You've got until November 30 to apply, and there is a $20 testing fee.

BCFD says anyone who's interested should contact the Fire Department team at 269-966-3519 or stop by any Battle Creek six fire station to speak with staff.
