Hundreds are expected to attend the 20th annual Celebrating All Walks of Life Traditional Pow Wow in West Michigan this weekend.

Grand Valley State University says the Celebrating All Walks of Life Traditional Pow Wow will take place in the Fieldhouse on GVSU's Allendale Campus on Saturday, April 7 and Sunday, April 8.

The Pow Wow includes opportunities to learn about Native American traditions and culture through dance and song. There will be some in attendance from Native American communities in the Upper Peninsula and from the Great Lakes region.

Grand Entry performances will take place at 1 p.m. and 6 p.m. on Saturday, April 7 and at noon on Sunday, April 8. Doors open at 11 a.m. on both days.

There will also be Native American handmade crafts and food vendors, and a silent auction to raise funds for Grand Valley's Native American Student Association.
