Tragic Plane Crash in Russia Claims The Lives of 2 Detroit Red Wings

A Russian jet carrying the Lokomotiv hockey team crashed, claiming the lives of it’s passengers. Among them were two Red Wings. Former Red Wings coach Brad McCrimmon and player Ruslan Salei were among the victims. McCrimmon served as assistant coach for last years lineup of the Red Wings and Ruslan Salei played defense for the Wings.

The crash is the second in three months to happen and is still under investigation. Many other phenomenal hockey players lost their lives in the tragic crash, including Stefan Liv. More details to come as the investigation unfolds.
