If you're still grieving over not being able to see the Red Wings play at Joe Louis Arena anymore, there's a chance for you to hold on to that memory.

The Detroit Red Wings announced on their Twitter page that they are now selling special-edition vials of melted ice that the Wings played on during their "Farewell Season."

website states:

The melted ice is contained in a commemorative "Farewell Season at The Joe" vial within an officially numbered 6" x 8" shadowbox framed photo from the "Farewell to The Joe Ceremony," which followed the final game at historic Joe Louis Arena.

The vial is available for purchase to the first 3,000 people and it will cost you $85. Yes, you're basically paying for water that was made fancy by putting it in a vial. But, the money does go towards the Detroit Red Wings Foundation, which "provides funds and resources to worthy causes that contribute to the growth of the sport of hockey."

And, it might look cool on your shelf.
