March 18, 2013 It was a busy time for Grand Rapids this past weekend. Not only was St. Patrick's Day coming up, but comedy festival Gilda's LaughFest was entering the final stretch of their 10-day marathon. The first Live at Night With the Free Beer & Hot Wings Show was Friday night (March 15) at The Intersection and one of the many sold out showcases during LaughFest.
LaughFest 2013 kicked off last night, March 7th in Rosa Parks Circle. Over 1,500 people from all over West Michigan came downtown to help break an odd world record. The record they were trying to beat was the most people with fake mustaches in one area at one time.
LaughFest is only a couple of months away. Ticket packages were on sale, those purchase opportunities are now closed.
The first chance at individual tickets arrives on Friday, January 11.

Individual tickets for the nation’s first-ever community-wide festival of laughter, Gilda’s LaughFest, will go on sale beginning Friday, Jan. 14 at 10 a.m. Tickets can be purchased at ticketmaster.com (search LaughFest) or by calling 800-745-3000: tickets can also be purchased at the VanAndel Arena box office. Gilda’s LaughFest opens March 10, 2011 and runs through March 20.
