September 27th, 2016 is National Voter Registration Day and this year's election is as important as ever!  Not only is our nation's next President to be decided, but all 435 seats in congress are up, as well as 34 of the seats in the Senate.  This election will determine how America will face up to the challenges ahead.

Registering to vote is easy.  So easy, that you might already be registered and not even know it!  So, first things first...  Let's see if you are registered!

Already registered?  Awesome!  Now just head to the precinct assigned to you on November 8th, and cast your ballot!

Not registered?  Don't worry!  It's easy to register and you have until October 11th to do so.

How To Register By Mail

  1. Get the voter registration form
    1. You can print out the form here
    2. You can acquire a form from your local Secretary of State, your local county, city or township clerk's office, or military recruitment centers
  2. Fill out the form
    1. You'll need to be 18 years or older by November 8th
    2. You'll need a Michigan driver's license, personal ID number and last 4 digits of your social security number.
    3. If you don't meet the requirements above (B), you'll need to provide one of the following:  Current photo ID, Paycheck stub, Utility bill, Bank statement, or Government document with your name and address
  3. Send the in form
    1. Mail the completed form and any other needed material to your city or township clerk

How To Register In Person

  1. Get the voter registration form
