WZZM-13 has confirmed that a viral Facebook post about Jeffrey Willis' transport from the Muskegon County Jail to the prison in Jackson where he will serve his life sentence is, in fact, true.

The post that was put up on Wednesday, states that Jeffrey Willis was forced to listen to a recording of Rebekah Bletsch's family giving statements to the court at Willis' sentencing.

Willis left the courtroom the day of the sentencing, and never heard the statements from Bletsch's family. He blew a kiss to the family on his way out of the courtroom.

The Muskegon County Sheriff confirmed to WZZM-13 that Willis was transported to Jackson by officers, and a CD of Bletsch's family's testimony played on a loop. The Facebook post says he listened to it five times on his way to prison.

Willis was convicted of murdering Rebekah Bletsch in early November. He was sentenced to life in prison this week. Willis is still set to stand trial for the murder of Jessica Heeringa (whose body has not yet been found). He also faces charges for multiple other crimes involving child pornography and firearms.
