As Hatebreed frontman Jamey Jasta prepares to step out on the road with his solo outfit, Jasta, fans can whet their appetite with a brand new cut, "Chasing Demons," featuring former Killswitch Engage and current Devil You Know singer Howard Jones.

There's plenty of familiarity between the two frontmen as Hatebreed and Devil You Know shared the bill on two North American tour legs last year. A guitar slide opens up "Chasing Demons" (heard below), landing on a metalcore-tinged riff as accented rhythmic stutters and a quick melodic fill come into play. The chugging verse serves as a platform for Jasta's intelligible bark, with the brawny moments washed away when Jones' soaring cleans seize hold of the chorus.

The song is available for purchase at Jasta's Bandcamp page. "Chasing Demons" is the first Jasta song to be released since "Deadly Business" in 2015 and his sole full length effort, Jasta, was released in 2011.

Catch Jasta on the road this spring as they provide support on select dates of the 'Killthrax' tour featuring Killswitch Engage and Anthrax as co-headliners as well as The Devil Wears Prada. All stops can be found at our 2017 Guide to Rock + Metal Tours.

“I rarely get to tour with Jasta and since the rest of my year is booked up with Hatebreed tours, I jumped at the chance to hit the road and debut some new Jasta songs with some of my favorite people in metal,” said the frontman. “Not only is the tour hitting some of my favorite cities to play, the lineup offers something for every generation of metal and hardcore fan. Come out early and get the pit started with us!”
