GRD Rocktagon – Asking Alexandria VS Alice In Chains

Today (August 6) is the day English metal rockers Asking Alexandria release their brand new album Death to Destiny. The band is going for their fifth Rocktagon win in a row with "The Death of Me," but they face their biggest challenge yet in grunge icons Alice In Chains.

Asking Alexandria are currently on the road to promote Death to Destiny. They will return to Michigan this Saturday (August 10) to perform at Dirt Fest in Birch Run. There are no dates scheduled in October and November as of this writing, so hopefully Asking Alexandria come back to Grand Rapids this year.

Alice In Chains released their fifth studio album, The Devil Put Dinosaurs Here, back in May. It's the follow-up to their 2009 comeback record Black Gives Way To Blue. Alice In Chains are currently headlining the Rockstar Energy Drink Uproar festival with Jane's Addiction, Coheed And Cambria and more through September 15.
