Free Beer & Hot Wings: The Worst ‘Star-Spangled Banner’ Performance Ever [Video]

It’s safe to say that before Saturday, few had ever heard of the band Madison Rising.

But now people know who the band is. And that’s not a good thing.

Billed by NASCAR as “America’s most patriotic band”, Madison Rising was called upon to perform “The Star-Spangled Banner” before Saturday’s Nationwide race.

The first minute or so was weird enough, but tolerable. Then, the drums kicked in and they started to rock.

Just check out the looks on everyone’s faces as the camera pans the crowd. Drivers and fans seemed to be doing everything they could to contain their laughter.
