Festivals, Metro Cruise, and Beer Highlight Our Weekend Top 10 – August 25-27
Summer is here and that means that there is a TON of stuff to do around West Michigan. Sometimes, that makes it a little difficult to figure out what to do with your weekend. That’s where the Weekend Top 10 comes in handy.

This year is the 38th Annual Polish Festival, held by the Polish Heritage Society. It is the longest continuous Festival held in the City of Grand Rapids! Head down to Rosa Parks Circle to celebrate the Polish culture, entertainment, food and drinks.
The Hispanic Festival is an annual celebration of the rich heritage of the community! The Festival attracts attendees from across the state, local Hispanic business owners, artists and performers from 20 different Latin American countries.

The Breakaway Music Festival is expanding to the city of Grand Rapids a new music experience. Featuring a well-curated musical lineup of national and local artists, local vendors and food trucks, and more, Breakaway is your release from the everyday life. It will be an unforgettable weekend to dance and sing-along to your favorite artists with thousands of your closest friends. Scheduled artists include Travis Scott, Zedd, and John Bellion.
There will be cars, bands, food and more. You have two days to come check out some of the classic cars and catch some great entertainment as well. This year includes more food options, more entertainment and extended hours on Saturday.

This family friendly location is the perfect way to kick off the weekend. A variety of food trucks will be available, so bring a blanket grab some food and hang out along the river.

There are less than 10 regular season home games left for the West Michigan Whitecaps for 2017. Get out to the ballpark and catch a game. On Friday evening, Chris Shelton will on hand for Tiger Fridays. Free Chris Shelton bobble-heads to the first 1,000 fans! Saturday will be Harry Potter night. Whitecaps players will be wearing Harry Potter uniforms which will be auctioned off. There will also be Family Fare Fireworks after the game on Saturday. Sunday is Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital Family Sunday. The first 1,000 kids eat free. It will also be Yoga Day – fans are invited out to participate in a free yoga session in the outfield from 11:15 am-12 Noon on Sunday.

The Burning Foot Beer Festival is a celebration of beer, beach, art and music. The festival will be held along Lake Michigan’s beautiful lakeshore in Muskegon, MI, offering the perfect way to end the summer. Serving as Michigan’s only barefoot beer festival on the sand, festival goers can enjoy some of the finest craft beer found in the Great Lakes region, revel in local art and food, groove to local and national music acts, and take in the beautiful shoreline of Lake Michigan
