Comerica Park has seen far less than its fair share of long balls lately, thanks to the offensively anemic team that calls the stadium home. But you could help fix that.

The Detroit Tigers are partnering with Upper Deck Golf to turn Comerica Park into a one-of-a-kind golf course for a few days this fall. Golfers will tee off from the ballpark's upper deck and take on custom greens on the actual field.

The one-time event will be held over three consecutive days following the end of the Tigers' season this fall. Dates are yet to be announced, but tee times will be available as early as 7 a.m. and as late as 9 p.m.

Here's more info from the Tigers' website:

Participants will tee off from the upper level of Comerica Park, with custom greens on the field. Fans will enjoy live music and food and beverage specials, in addition to golf challenges at multiple locations throughout the ballpark.=

VIP tee times, which include a more premium experience, will also be available. Those fans will enjoy free entry into driving, chipping, and putting challenges, in addition to complimentary food and beverage items.

Standard golf clubs will be available for players to use at each tee box. While guests are welcome to bring their own clubs, no drivers or fairway metals are allowed at Upper Deck Golf events, for safety purposes.

Registration isn't available until September, but you can get on the official waitlist here. Pricing has not yet been announced, but golfers can choose from two different packages: Standard, which requires a minimum of two golfers and includes one round of golf inside Comerica Park, a complimentary set of golf balls, access to the clubhouse bar with golfing challenges, and special stadium access; or VIP, which affords the same offers as the standard package, plus extra golf balls, free entry to a driving challenge, free entry to a putting challenge, free entry to a chipping challenge, and a complimentary meal and beverage.
