The Great Lakes can create some awesome scenes during the summer, we know that. But, we Michiganders also know that the Great Lakes are pretty amazing in the winter months, too.

We often see amazing ice formations along Lake Michigan, and the waves that are produced during wind storms like the one we had last week are definitely impressive.

But, I don't know if we've ever seen something like this happen along the coast of Lake Michigan. It's possible that this could only happen along the shores of Lake Ontario.

John Kucko, who lives somewhere in New York state along the shores of Lake Ontario, posted this video to his Facebook page of the ice that had completely encased his home.

Some people have claimed the video is fake, but those of us who have any experience with the Great Lakes know that something like this is TOTALLY possible.
