When Cavalera Conspiracy returns, it will have a new face joining them and a brand new support system behind the scenes.

Blabbermouth reports that the group announced  Converge's Nate Newton has joined the band, taking over for Johny Chow. The band has also inked a deal with Napalm Records.

Chow had played with Cavalera Conspiracy during the support of their last album, but took on a new gig as Stone Sour's touring bassist during Cavalera Conspiracy's downtime.

When it came time to hit the road again, the band recruited Soulfly bassist Tony Campos to fill in.

Last month, Cavalera Conspiracy revealed a new record deal with Napalm Records. Along with the news, the band said they had started work on their third, still untitled, new album.

"This is gonna be our third album and it's going to be a brutal grind core style," frontman Max Cavalera said. "I am already working on the riffs, and it is going to come out next year."

His brother Igor Cavalera added: "I am very excited to record the new CC record. ... Me and Max have been planning this for a while, and all I can say is that it will be a brutal record. Also I'm super proud to join Napalm Records, home of lots of amazing artists."
