Grand Haven State Park

Not only do the roadies and I frequent the beautiful beach at Grand Haven State Park, but its a great place to spend your day or afternoon on a day off work. The beach is the perfect place to catch some rays, and they have the greatest hotdog stand, Pronto Pups, right down the street!

This place is awesome! One of the world’s most significant botanic and sculpture experiences, Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park was recently ranked in the top 100 most-visited art museums worldwide by Art Newspaper. They have an entire outdoor amphitheater where they have concerts and shows all summer long! Check out www.meijergardens.org

Alright, alright, I know its not exactly an outdoor activity BUT they have a great deck where you can relax and drink lots of beer! Plus its right there on Grandville Avenue so lots of other stuff can spur from watching the sunset and enjoying a beer at an awesome local restaurant and bar!
