Michigan Newspaper Makes VERY NSFW Typo [Photo]

Let's hope that this typo on the Argus Press' website didn't make it into the print version of the newspaper!

On Wednesday, the Argus Press (based out of Owosso, Michigan) posted a story on their website about the Shiawassee County offices being closed on Friday in observance of Independence Day. Problem is, it didn't get proofread, and "county" had a letter missing.

RECALL – Thai Kitchen Chicken Pad Thai Recalled Due To Misbranding

Bellisio Foods, Inc. out of Jackson, Ohio is recalling roughly 12,180 pounds of a Thai Kitchen Chicken Pad Thai frozen entrée product due to misbranding and an undeclared allergen according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS).  The product contains soy protein isolate, a known allergen, and that product is not listed on the label.

Gunman At Oregon High School Kills Student – Gunman Also Dead

A gunman killed a student at an Oregon high school and was later "confirmed deceased," authorities said.

SWAT teams surrounded Reynolds High School after receiving a report of a shooting shortly before the beginning of the school day Tuesday. Reynold High School is located just outside of Portland. The school year had been scheduled to end Wednesday.

24-Year-Old Cold Case Grand Rapids Murder Reopened; Film About Slaying Debuts This Week

Grand Rapids police have reopened their investigation into the murder of 23-year-old Joel Battaglia.

Battaglia died on June 11, 1990, from injuries suffered in a beating. He was last seen leaving Mulligan's Pub in Grand Rapids' Eastown neighborhood early that morning.

Battaglia was found, beaten and unconscious, a half mile away from the pub where he was last spotted, at 1065 Lake Drive SE. Robbed and left without identification, Joel lay in the morgue unidentified for a day. A tattoo of a phoenix on his right ankle enabled investigators to put his name with his body.

This round, Grand Rapids is pitted against La Crosse, Wis. I've never been to La Crosse, but I can already tell you that Grand Rapids is better.

BREAKING: Dorr Elementary School Evacuated

UPDATE (2:00 p.m.): Roughly 600 kids were evacuated from Dorr Elementary School and can be picked up a few blocks from the school at fire station. Police are still investigating the suspicious package at this time.

UPDATE (1:25 p.m.): Authorities are saying that the school has been evacuated as a precaution after a suspicious package was left outside of the building. Traffic is currently being detoured away from the area.

According to our friends at WZZM-13, Students at Dorr Elementary School have evacuated the building and are at the fire barn nearby. The evacuation occurred around 12:45 p.m. on Monday.
