Animals as Leaders + Devin Townsend Project Reveal 2014 Tour

Here's an awesome tour to bring a brilliant end to 2014.

Progressive metal giants Animals as Leaders and the Devin Townsend Project are confirmed to invade North America for a month-long tour with fellow progressive frontrunners Monuments. The tour includes a Nov. 28 stop in Detroit and Nov. 26 in Chicago.

Animals as Leaders have brought instrumental metal to a new peak, releasing their critically acclaimed third album, 'The Joy of Motion,' earlier this year. Led by phenomenal guitarist Tosin Abasi, Animals as Leaders are completed by guitarist Javier Reyes and drummer Matt Garstka, forming a true power trio.

Devin Townsend needs no introduction, and after years of chasing grand visions, the enigmatic musician put together his greatest experience to date with 'The Retinal Circus' DVD. Townsend unveiled his 'Casualties of Cool' album earlier this year and his long-awaited 'Ziltoid the Omniscient' sequel, 'Z²,' will see a Oct. 27 release. Will we hear new Ziltoid on this tour?!
