Wallethub.com put together a list of 570 American cities ranked by the average person's budget for the holidays.  Livonia, Rochester Hills, and Troy are in the top 25 cities for people who budget the most for the holidays.  A total of 16 Michigan cities were ranked on the list, let's see who the big spenders are:

The top 5 highest holiday spenders are:

  1. Flower Mound, TX - $2,761
  2. Sunnyvale, CA - $2,575
  3. Naperville, IL - $2,528
  4. Mountain View, CA - $2,524
  5. The Woodlands, TX - $2,444

And the 5 lowest holiday spenders are:

  1. Glendale, CA - $131
  2. Springfield, MA - $125
  3. New Haven, CT - $115
