It's been one of the most speculated and debated topics of the modern age,"Is there intelligent life elsewhere in the universe?" On this day 25 years ago, West Michigan and many people started to believe, as eerie lights filled the sky along nearly 200 miles of the Lake Michigan shoreline, from Ludington all the way down to the Indiana border; the largest UFO sighting in Michigan history.

Cindy Pravda recently spoke to Freep about her encounter with the phenomena that night saying: "I watched them for half an hour. Where I'm facing them, the one on the far left moved off. It moved to the highway and then came back in the same position. The one to the right was gone in blink of an eye and then, eventually, everything disappeared quickly. I'm known as the UFO lady of Grand Haven."

Personally, I think this universe is far too large to contain only one planet that breathes life. What we have today is a fragile display of what billions of years can bring to a planet that's just close enough and just far away from it's sun, given certain circumstances. Our planet is unique and there is no other planet like it. But I gotta believe that somewhere out there, maybe there is a being pondering the same thing, drinking it's planets version of coffee, blogging before going on air, hoping for the best of it's species and all other possible forms of life to come together finally and say, "We are all one."
