West Side Grand Rapids Restaurant Broken Into
The Søvengård, a popular restaurant on GR's west side, was broken into early Tuesday and staff are grateful it wasn't as bad as it could've been.
The owner of the restaurant showed security footage to FOX 17. The man cut the drywall and then used a plant pot to put a hole in the wall. The owner said other than leaving a huge mess, the robber mostly left with iPads and a "sip of juice." I mean... have you been to Sovengard? They do have some legit drinks...
The suspect was kind enough though to empty the recycling bin. I guess it's the least he could do.
The GRPD is looking for any tips leading to the arrest of the man. They can be contacted at 616.456.3400.
