A driver in Casco Township Michigan looses control of their car that winds up going airborne after hitting a bridge.

According to FOX 17, the vehicle was traveling down Baseline Road right near 59th Street in Casco Township of Allegan County just before 10 p.m. Sunday evening. The driver wound up running into the bridge before the vehicle went airborne killing the driver.

A person who was walking by the area discovered the vehicle upside down in a wooded area. Emergency crews arrived to find the driver of the car had died do to their injuries. The driver was the only person who was in the vehicle.

The emergency crews had to use the Jaws of Life to get the victim from the car but it was not in time since the victim died from their injuries.

Investigators working the scene said the driver was cruising westbound on Baseline Road when the driver lost control of vehicle that swiped the bridge then somehow went airborne landing on the roof of the vehicle.

The crash is still under investigation and the name of the driver has not been released until all family has been contacted.
