The Temperance Movement are a great band from the UK, with members from London, Glasgow, and Australia, and they came to Grand Rapids to play a show Tuesday night at the Tip Top Deluxe Bar and Grille! Before the show, they stopped by WGRD to say hi and play a couple songs for us to get us ready for the show!

Great guys, fantastic band! If you like good rock music with great harmony vocals, you're really going to love this band!

We talked about how the band formed, and they had all know each other for quite a while in other bands before coming together as The Temperance Movement about three years ago.

They had immediate chemistry as friends and a band, and started off their first jam together with original music!

The band has been on the road for the last three years, playing mostly in Europe, and even getting the opportunity to open four shows for the Rolling Stones! They said they had a great time, and even got to hang a little bit with the Stones, and told a quick story about hanging in a bar with Ron Wood watching sports!

Check out the entire interview below, as well as the live acoustic performances of 'Take it Back', and 'Only Friend'.

Here are some official videos of The Temperance Movement, at full volume!
