Rescues for Heroes offers free pet adoptions for veterans, first responders, and their families on May 31 at the Humane Society of West Michigan.

A Michigan Vietnam veteran who dedicated his later life to honoring those who served has passed away. He had no known family so the funeral home handing his arrangements is asking any one who can make it to support his burial.
