Every year around this time, Las Vegas arena rockers the Killers write and record a Christmas song which they sell to benefit the Red Foundation.

Speculation has been running rampant about the lineup for this year's Lollapalooza festival at Grant Park in Chicago. The "leaked" event poster turned out to be pretty accurate as organizers have announced the official roster today. Goth rock pioneers The Cure, Trent Reznor's resurrected Nine Inch Nails, The Killers and more will headline the 3-day weekend this summer.

Killers fans in Belgium and Luxembourg just had their dance cards cleared and their weekend plans canceled, as the band has postponed its weekend shows in those European countries due to an undisclosed "illness."

  U2 are celebrating the 20th anniversary of their 1991 album Achtung Baby in a big way. A documentary film, entitled From The Sky Down, was released earlier this year chronicling the making of Achtung Baby. The obligatory special releases will also hit stores next week. The Killers are ready to start writing the follow-up to their 2008 album, Day and Age. The Las Vegas band who made keyboards in songs cool again will get together May 17 to share what they've been working on since taking a break last year.
