Storms moved through West Michigan on Tuesday evening, brining rain, hail and a lot of lightning. This incredible light show could be seen from over 50 miles away!
After a reported tornado and severe storms ripped through West Michigan Saturday, more than 23,000 Consumers Energy customers are without power, WZZM 13 reports.
Going through my Facebook, I keep seeing post regarding a big storm that will hit our area tomorrow. When I think of a big storm, I think of the storm back in May 1998 that pretty much blew everything over in the Grand Rapids/Walker area.
Will we see something similar tomorrow?
Very loud around here last night. Warning sirens blaring, winds gusting, my wife screaming "shut up" every time I tried to talk louder than WZZM 13 George Lessons as he blared from our TV scanning the skies for danger. Even Tucker my dog joined in, eerily howling every time those damn sirens went off...
