Thousands Without Power in West Michigan After Last Night’s Storms [Video]
After severe thunderstorms rolled through West Michigan last night, more than 6,000 Consumer's Energy customers remain without power, WZZM 13 reports.
High winds, heavy rain, and lightning caused downed power lines and trees, flooding, and other damage.
Consumers Energy's outage map is currently showing large areas in Muskegon, Kent, and Ottawa counties without power. There are also scattered outages in Allegan, Barry, Kalamazoo, and Van Buren Counties.
At this time, estimated restoration times are "awaiting investigation results".
