Sick Puppies

Tonight's Rocktagon is quite the main event. Sick Puppies are looking for their third consecutive win but will have to face supergroup A Perfect Circle.

Sick Puppies' "Gunfight" was able to beat Filter's "Surprise" in last night's (October 15) Rocktagon battle. The two-thirds Australian trio now go up against Creed frontman Scott Stapp.

Alter Bridge made history last week by becoming the first band to win the Rocktagon 20 consecutive times. They now retire as champions. Tonight (October 15) Sick Puppies and Filter battle for the vacant Rocktagon title.

After canceling their scheduled Grand Rapids appearance last year, Sick Puppies are ready to make up for it this fall at The Intersection.

Bullet For My Valentine wins the Rocktagon breaking Falling In Reverse's winning streak. Tonight they will face a new one from Sick Puppies. Listen to both songs and vote for your favorite in the poll below. Tune in tonight around 8:30 when the Rocktagon is live on GRD!

Whoever said that good things come in threes was obviously referring to the pack of trios that provide the core lineup of the ‘Triple Threat’ Tour. Headlined by the trio Seether with support by fellow three-piece acts Sick Puppies and Kyng, there’s a lot to love about the number three. Of course, opening quintet Young Guns broke the 'three' chain, but more of that later.

Wingstock artist Sick Puppies rocked the main stage at Rock On The Range this past weekend, but bassist Emma Anzai and drummer Mark Goodwin had time to sit down for an interview with me before their set. The two talked about their latest album Tri-Polar, the one album that each of them needed to have in case the Rapture did occur and more.

Grand Rapids’ Rock Alternative 97.9 GRD and the Free Beer & Hot Wings Show are proud to present Wingstock 2011, June 11 to Fifth Third Ballpark in Comstock Park, MI.  Headlining the event are post-grunge rockers Seether, with support from Hinder, Sick Puppies and hometown boys Wayland.

I got the opportunity to talk with Shim from Sick Puppies today he told me all about a fan he had that did something a little... unusual, the weird ass prank another rock band played on them during a show, and lots more about their world crew, and shoe endorsement.
