Faygo

Ahhh, the good old days. If you're from Grand Rapids or have lived here a long time then you probably remember Towne Club Pop. I do. When I first moved here it was a little bit of heaven when you could go to the Towne Club Pop centers.

Our buddy Nick, a Michigander who has relocated to New York, decided to share some of the nectar of the Gods known as Faygo with a couple of his coworkers.

Native Michiganders grow up with Faygo's iconic Red Pop, Rock & Rye and other flavors. But if you're not from the Great Lakes State or very near by, the Detroit-based soda is likely something you've never tried.

Insane Clown Posse are known for their insane shows, and the spraying of Faygo at them. Did you know they use at least 400-500 two-liters of Faygo at EVERY SHOW? Apparently this goes up to whopping 600 two-liters sometimes! This prompted The Loft in Lansing to request "no more Faygo" after the first of two nights at the club.
