The Download Festival keeps getting bigger. The U.K. rock weekend already nabbed Metallica, the newly reunited Black Sabbath and Prodigy to headline each night. It's now been confirmed that Soundgarden, Machine Head, Anthrax, Tenacious D and more will join the bill.

"We are beyond psyched to play Download 2012," says Soundgarden drummer Matt Cameron (via Kerrang!). "It will be a huge year for the band and what better way to celebrate than bring it all to our UK family at Download? See you there!"

Tenacious D released a humble statement in regards to their appearance.

"We'd like to congratulate the Download Festival on their booking of Tenacious D," Jack Black and Kyle Gass joke. "It's a huge day... a huge day for the Festival. It's just another day for Tenacious D."

Now in its 10th year, the Download Festival is set to take place June 8-10 at Donington Park in England. Metallica will headline Saturday night playing the Black Album in its entirety. Black Sabbath are still scheduled to close out the festival on Sunday despite the fact that guitarist Tony Iommi has been diagnosed with cancer.

Weekend tickets are on sale now and can be purchased here.
