Simulation Predicts the Lions Will Start the 2019 Season 0-11
Oh, the life of a Lions fans. Some years you make it to the playoffs, some years you go 0-16.
ESPN took it upon themselves to break down all of the games for this coming season (including the playoffs and the Super Bowl), and the results aren't great for the Detroit Lions.
The Detroit Free Press reports that, according to the simulation, the Lions will start off the season 0-11 - starting by being blown out by the Arizona Cardinals in week one.
The good news, if there is any, is that the Lions will not have a win-less season. According to the simulation, the boys in Honolulu blue will finish out the season with a 4-12 record.
How will they pull that off after an 11-game (hypothetical) losing streak? By winning the last four games of the season against Chicago, Minnesota, Tampa Bay and Denver.
The regular season hasn't even started yet, and predictions are just that - predictions. But, it could be another long and frustrating season for Lions' players, coaches and fans alike.
