If you are a fan of any of Michigan's home teams, some of the greatest players in sports history will be in Detroit this weekend, and fans can meet them.

What is the Detroit Sports Spectacular?

The Detroit Sports Spectacular is a 3-day sports fan event going on in Novi, Michigan, from May 30th through June 1st at the Suburban Collection Showplace. Some of the biggest names in Detroit sports from the past to the present will be on hand for the largest sports memorabilia show.

Tickets for the Detroit Sports Spectacular are only $15 a day or $40 for the whole weekend. Online ticket sales have stopped, but you can still get yours at the box office of the Suburban Collection Showplace. You can also purchase autograph and photo tickets at the box office for the players you want to meet.

Detroit Sports Legends That Will Appear at the Sports Spectacular

Detroit Lions greats that will appear at the sports spectacular are Calvin 'Megatron' Johnson, Barry Sanders, Aidan Hutchinson, Jared Goff, Amon-Ra St. Brown, Jahmyr Gibbs, David Montgomery, Brian Branch, and more.

Former University of Michigan and current Minnesota Viking quarterback J.J. McCarthy will also be appearing.

Detroit Pistons greats Bill Laimbeer, Dennis Rodman, Rick Mahorn, and Mark Aguirre will appear at the sports spectacular.

Representing the Detroit Tigers will be Miguel 'Miggy' Cabrera, Armando Galarraga, Alan Trammell, and Jack Morris.

From the Detroit Red Wings, fans will get a chance to meet Chris Osgood, Chris Chelios, Bret Hull, Adam Oates, and Mike Vernon.

There will be tons of other sports legends in attendance, like Reggie Jackson, Wade Boggs, Christian Laettner, and more. The Detroit Sports Spectacular is in its second year and is a must-see event for sports super fans.
