Many American cities are made up of many different cultures. There is a neighborhood in Los Angeles, California, nicknamed Chinatown because a large group of Chinese people live in the area and it has adopted a lot of the culture from China.

Just like in New York and San Diego, both have what is called "Little Italy" which has a high concentration of Italians and their culture.
The west side of Grand Rapids is known as Polonia since the Polish immigrants settled there in the late 1870s bringing much of their culture.

Should Eastown in Grand Rapids Be Renamed Pizzatown?
Someone in Grand Rapids has pointed out on social media that Eastown should be renamed "Pizzatown" due to the high number of pizzerias in the area. I don't know if that constitutes a name change but let's see what folks say on social media.
That's a lot of pie in one area of Grand Rapids, this person may be on to something about calling the area "Pizzatown."
Update: there are more pizzerias in Pizzatown!
This poster had a pretty good idea with the name "Eatstown."
Sounds like Eastown being renamed "Pizzatown", is not such a stretch afterall.
