New York Subway Random Attack
So far the attack appears to be random, and the Washington Post reports that authorities have not figured out a motive, but the shooting was definitely planned seeing how the gunman wore a gas mask and a smoke device was set off prior to the shooting with other smoke devices being found at the scene.
No subway employees were hurt by the gunfire.
