A reporter became overly emotional as she read the baseball highlights over the weekend.

The St. Louis Cardinals swept the Pittsburgh Pirates in their recent series, which is a sad state of affairs, but shouldn’t be difficult news to deliver if you’re a sports reporter.

In this video, you can hear the reporter becoming more and more choked up as she continues talking about the stats of some players.

Assuming nothing horrible happened right before she went on air, she’s either a hugely disappointed Pirates fan or she’s just super proud of the Cardinals winning streak.
