Experience Christmas Magic at These Reindeer Farms in Michigan

The holidays are a magical time in the Mitten State. In addition to parades, festivals, and Christmas markets, there are multiple spots in Michigan to meet reindeer!

That's right, you don't have to travel to the North Pole to pet and feed Santa's special friends - visit with them at different farms around the state!

Many farms also have additional animals like horses, goats, alpacas, chickens, even miniature highland cows!

(Speaking of mini highland cows, there's a Michigan farm that hosts special events like yoga with cows or painting with cows! While their events have wrapped for the season, the fun with mini cows at Thunder Acres in Sand Lake will start back up in the spring.)

You'll find special events and activities too, like carriage and sleigh rides, tours, arts and crafts, playgrounds, visits with special characters, and breakfast Jolly Old St. Nick himself.

One farm even has a lighted holiday walk through the woods!
