GRPD were called to a fight involving 15-20 people at a strip mall with auto-related businesses on 28th Street Wednesday evening.

Wood TV 8 reports the incident happened around 5p.m. at 1850 28th Street near Kalamazoo Avenue.

According to police, an off-duty Michigan Corrections Officer was involved. The officer had a concealed pistol license and was armed with gun. Police say they confiscated the gun for the time being for "safe keeping".

No arrests were made.

It's believed the fight stemmed from a "property dispute".

According to Fox 17, the investigation is ongoing and police are continuing interviews with those involved on Thursday.
