Grand Rapids Mediterranean Restaurant Closes Four Months After Opening
Grand Rapids has said goodbye to another restaurant.
After four months in business, a Mediterranean restaurant on Bridge Street is permanently closed.

Back in July we told you about changes on Bridge Street. Jolly Pumpkin had shut down and a new restaurant, Pide and Stick, was moving in.
Jolly Pumpkin Artisan Ales was founded in Dexter, Michigan in 2004. Since then, it's opened multiple bars and restaurants across the state. The location at 428 Bridge St. NW first opened in 2018. Known for its sour beers, the restaurant also served up artisan pizzas, soups, sandwiches, and salads.

Following its closure, the owners of Jolly Pumpkin, Mission Restaurant Group opened Pide and Stick at the location August 1.
The restaurant serve pide (Turkish Flatbread), shawarma, kebabs, and small plates like hummus, lamb meatballs, and zaatar fries.
According to Wood TV 8, Pide and Stick is now closed.
A sign on the door reads,
This location has closed permanently. Happy Holidays, you filthy animals.
The closure has not been mentioned on the restaurant's Facebook page and Pide and Stick is still listed as open on Google at the time of this writing.

Maybe Mission Group will try another one of their brands at the Bridge Street location? According to their website, they operate more than a dozen of them, including North Peak Brewing Company, Mission Table, and Blue Tractor BBQ and Brewery.
