Holy sh*t! So the weekend went pretty damn fast. It was opening weekend for "Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson" at Actors Theatre in Grand Rapids. If you aren't familiar with this show here's a quick rundown.

It just got off Broadway a few years ago, and now local theater troupes across the nation are starting to pick it up.

The show is a rock musical centered around Andrew Jackson's presidency and it is a definite farce! Think "Saturday Night Live" meets "American Pie," meets Green Day's "American Idiot."

That kind of helps give you an idea of the craziness that is "Bloody Bloody."

I play like five different small characters throughout the show, including a cheerleader that shares a pretty long lasting lip lock with another girl. I think the show drops the "F" bomb like 50 times (minimum) and the music isn't anything you have heard in musical theater before. That said, we are having a blast!

We still have two weekends left of performances.

Here are some pictures from this past weekend.
