Happy Valentines Day everyone! It feels great to be back in the bus as we roll out of town. Everyone seems fresh and ready to get to work.

We got a lot done yesterday. Mitch, Gurley, and myself spent the early afternoon writing and met up with the band over at Mates Rehearsal at 4pm. The guy working there said if we had shown up 30 minutes earlier we would've ran into Slash. That would've been cool. We've had a few interesting run-ins with Slash over the last few years. I have a lot of respect for him, not just as a guitar player. Through all the crap he's been through with Guns n Roses, and Velvet Revolver, you can tell he's always just tried to make the best music he can. He's hung in there through a lot and is still cranking out fresh rock n roll.

Dean, Chip, and Tyler seem happy to be leaving the Roach Motel they've been staying at. Apparently when they got back to the hotel last night, the LAPD had set up a sting operation. There were about 15 police cars outside with 10 or more prostitutes in handcuffs.

Tonight we play in Kingman, Arizona. It's a historic town along the famous Route 66. Last time we were there was Halloween 2010. We stayed in an old haunted hotel and spent the night drunken-ghost-hunting until 7am. At one point Dean and I found ourselves in tunnels under the foundation of the building. We know when we go to Kingman it's going to be an adventure, but I doubt we're allowed back at the same hotel. Haha!
