A historic trolley and riverboat tour company in Michigan's Upper Peninsula may have reached the end of its run.

For decades, the Tahquamenon Falls Riverboat Tours & Toonerville Trolley in Soo Junction have been giving scenic tours of the U.P.'s woodlands and majestic falls.

The owners recently announced that the business will not be opening for what would have been its 97th season. They say that for quite a while, they have been searching for a buyer, as they aim to retire. While many have shown interest, "the banks are not making many business loans."

The owners hope to find a buyer who will reopen the in 2025.
