Just when its getting chillier in Grand Rapids, we'll have two new nonstop flight options  to warmer locales out of of Gerald R. Ford International Airport.

According to a press release from GRR, Allegiant will start nonstop flights to New Orleans and Jacksonville in October 2019.

Drew Wells, Allegiant vice president of planning and revenue said,

“We’re excited to add two more exciting destinations to our service in Grand Rapids with these two new cities—Jacksonville and New Orleans. We’re certain that area travelers will love having a convenient, affordable option to get away to enjoy sunny Jacksonville or the vibrant culture of New Orleans."

The new routes to Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport (starting Oct. 3) and Jacksonville International Airport (starting Oct. 4) will operate twice weekly. Flight days, times, and fares can be found here.

Fares start as low as $59-- but you have to be quick! For the introductory one-way fares, flights must be purchased by June 19, 2019 for travel by February 11, 2020, and are subject to fees.
