After years of rumors that a Trader Joe's was coming to West Michgian, it's finally happening!

Back in December the store signed a lease to move into a space on 28th Street across from Centerpointe Mall. Then we were all left wondering, "When?! When is it opening?"

Well, now we know!

Fox 17 reports the specialty grocery store will open at 3684 28th Street in Kentwood at 8:00a.m. on Friday, September 25.

It's formerly the site of Ruby Tuesday and in front of Dave and Busters.

If you're still like "Ummm... what's the big deal? What's Trader Joe's?"

Well, everyone I've ever met raves about the place-- especially the "Two Buck Chuck" ($2 wine? Yes please!).

I've heard it described as a cross between World Market and Aldi-- so basically it's a grocery store with cool and different stuff from all over the world that you won't find anywhere else, and the prices are pretty great.

I guess we'll find out for sure September 25!
